CITY OF DELMAR SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Nov. 8, 2006

The Delmar City Council met in special session on November 8, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at the Delmar Council Chambers. Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. with the following members present at roll call: Jebsen, Trenkamp, Goodall, Eberhart. M/S Jebsen, Goodall to approve the consent agenda. Roll call vote: All ayes.

M/S Goodall, Eberhart to approve Resolution 11-8-06 to pledge $5,000 as local match towards the Housing Rehab should the city be awarded grant funds to be signed by the mayor. Roll call vote: All ayes.

M/S Eberhart, Trenkamp to approve the Applicant/Recipient Disclosure Report for the Iowa Department of Economic Development to be signed by the mayor. Roll call vote: All ayes.

M/S Jebsen, Trenkamp to approve the Federal Assurances Signature Page to be signed by the mayor. Roll call vote: All ayes.

M/S Trenkamp, Goodall to approve the mayor signing the Housing Fund General Application form. Roll call vote: All ayes.

Complaints about the brush/compost yard were brought up by the clerk. Residents complained that the yard was locked up over the weekend and they could not dispose of leaves. Decision to have maintenance unlock the gates on Saturday morning for residents to dispose of yard waste and Goodall will relock the gates at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Goodall advised the council of water running across the gravel road by Crop Production and to have maintenance check to see where it is coming from.
